Apollo Strike is a simulation game released on the Commodore 64 in 1997. You play as an AH-64 Apache helicopter pilot tasked with destroying the Strategic Defense Computer (SDC) before it falls into enemy hands. Your mission takes you through three cities, where you must navigate through skyscraper corridors while avoiding enemy fire from helicopters and tanks.
As you progress through the game, your goal is to locate and destroy the SDC in each city. This will ultimately save the world from nuclear destruction. The gameplay involves strategy and quick reflexes as you weave through the city streets, avoiding obstacles and enemy aircraft while targeting your targets. With a focus on realistic military action, Apollo Strike requires players to think tactically and make split-second decisions to succeed.
