Teitoku no Ketsudan II , a turn-based war strategy game, is set during World War 2 naval battles and part of Koei's Pacific Theater of Operations series. In the main scenario, the player chooses either the US or Japanese navy and commands the forces in the Pacific Theater starting in 1941 . There are also several other shorter scenarios based on specific battles.
The gameplay offers improved air and submarine combat options, as well as expanded systems for diplomatic relations and military support from allied nations. The player now has limited control over their country's army when it comes to naval strategy and deployment. The game features a single-player campaign on PlayStation.
