The Next Tetris is a puzzle game that brings back the classic gameplay of Tetris, removing the additional features introduced in previous entries. The game includes the standard Tetris mode as well as some new variants, such as puzzle pieces made up of individual parts and "wiggly" pieces that can squeeze through tight spaces.
The game offers both solo and competitive simultaneous play options. Additionally, it allows players to link their scores and times to a global board via the Internet for comparison with other players around the world.
