Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft follows archaeologist Lara Croft as she searches for a legendary stone in India. She soon meets Dr. Willard, who is interested in an ancient Polynesian city built by a now-defunct civilization. The Infada Stone, one of the four artifacts made from the meteorite's core, is believed to be hidden in various regions around the planet.
Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft is an action game with platforming and puzzle-solving elements. Lara Croft 's abilities include running, jumping, climbing, swimming, rolling, crouching, crawling, sprinting, and swinging on bars and vines. The gameplay system is similar to the previous installment.
The game features new hazards such as cold water, underwater creatures, and quicksand, which can be challenging for Lara Croft to navigate. Players can use a variety of weapons including pistols, shotguns, harpoon guns, uzis, grenade launchers, Desert Eagles, MP5 sub-machine-guns, and rocket launchers.
Players can choose their level order in the PlayStation version, and can save the game at any time in both PC and PlayStation versions. However, in the PlayStation version, saving is limited to special crystals collected by Lara Croft during her journey.
