Bakuden: Unbalance Zone is a humorous game where the player controls a nerdy boy who is visited by four men who tell him he must venture into a different reality. The unlikely hero is transported to the prehistoric era, where he must set things right with the local tribe and wildlife.
The game has non-interactive comic book-style scenes with voice-overs, as well as short adventure-like segments. During these segments, the player has five icons at their disposal, each corresponding to a context-specific action. Only one of these actions can solve the problem, but others trigger humorous animations and allow the player to proceed even if it was fatal.
Bakuden: Unbalance Zone is released for the Sega Mega CD and falls under the puzzle genre. It was initially launched on 1970.
