About

Tron Bonne is a prominent character in Capcom's Mega Man Legends franchise, serving as a key antagonist alongside her pirate family, the Bonnes. She stars as the main protagonist in the spin-off prequel, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne, where she pilots the Gustaff mech to pay off her family's debts. She is also known as the creator and commander of the iconic, yellow Servbots.
Designed by Keiji Inafune, the character first appeared in the 1998 PlayStation release Mega Man Legends. In this title, she clashes with protagonist Mega Man Volnutt while attempting to plunder Kattelox Island, developing a comedic, unrequited crush on him that becomes a recurring narrative element in the sequel, Mega Man Legends 2 (2000).
In her dedicated title, The Misadventures of Tron Bonne (released in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in North America and Europe), gameplay expands on her engineering skills. Players manage the individual personalities and skills of her forty robotic assistants through training minigames, RPG-style exploration, and puzzle-focused missions.
Beyond her original franchise, her distinct design and popularity led to her inclusion in several crossover fighting and tactical games. She debuted as a playable fighter in Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (2000) and returned in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds (2011). She also represents the franchise in crossover RPGs such as Namco x Capcom (2005) and the Project X Zone series, cementing her status as one of Capcom's most recognizable antiheroes.
