Racjin Co. Ltd., originally known as Racdym, is a Japanese game studio that developed R-Types, Sub Rebellion, and Ka (Mister Mosquito). They also contributed to major franchises, developing Bomberman Kart and titles within the Bomberman Land and Naruto Shippuden series.
Established in Osaka in 1995, the studio transitioned from its original identity during a period of rapid diversification. This era saw the team take on the PlayStation release of
Wizardry (2000), bringing the classic dungeon-crawler to console audiences. They were also entrusted with porting Bungie's martial arts action title
Oni (2001) to the PlayStation 2, a release that was later preserved through the
Oni [Platinum] budget range.
Beyond standalone projects, the developer became a reliable partner for major Japanese publishers. They expanded the
Bomberman Land series by designing puzzle-adventure hybrids and multiplayer attractions. For Sega, they adapted the high-speed mascot racer
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing for handheld play on the Nintendo DS. Their relationship with Bandai Namco resulted in multiple
Naruto Shippuden adaptations, including the action-adventure title
Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles and entries in the
Gekitou Ninja Taisen! fighting series. Through these collaborative efforts, the studio solidified its reputation for adapting major media franchises across diverse gameplay genres.
