About

Founded in 1987, the company produced several influential titles and series, including Fire Pro Wrestling, Formation Soccer, and the Clock Tower survival horror franchise. It also established the world's first video game academy, the Human Creative School, before declaring bankruptcy in 2000.
During the late 1980s and early 1990s, the developer established a strong presence on the PC Engine and TurboGrafx-16 platforms. Early releases showcased a diverse portfolio spanning sports, simulation, and action genres. In 1989, the company released Fire Pro Wrestling: Combination Tag and the racing title F1 Triple Battle. The following year saw the launch of Formation Soccer: Human Cup '90, the sports simulation Pro Wrestling, and the tactical mecha game Vasteel.
The company continued to expand its library on 8-bit and 16-bit consoles with the 1991 releases of the action-puzzle game Chacha-Maru Panic and the highly regarded Final Match Tennis. Many of these early projects laid the technical and design foundations for the company's later genre-defining work. Following the studio's dissolution, several former employees went on to found prominent independent Japanese development studios, including Grasshopper Manufacture, Sandlot, and Spike, ensuring the company's design philosophies and cult-classic legacy persisted within the broader gaming industry.
