Clock Tower is a point-and-click horror adventure game where Jennifer and her friends are adopted by a nice lady named Mary. They expect to live in a new home at Barrows Mansion, but things take a dark turn when Jennifer's friends start dying one by one.
The game follows Jennifer's desperate attempt to survive and escape the mansion while being stalked by a crazed psychopath known as Scissorman. With no special abilities, she must rely on her wits and determination to outsmart the enemies that try to kill her.

Story
The Legend of the Clock Tower
Deep in the mountains of Northern Europe, there stood a quiet mansion. Its master was named Barrows. The mansion featured a towering clock tower, and the local people used to graze their livestock at the sound of its bell.
Before long, the locals came to call it CLOCK TOWER — The Clock Tower Mansion. However, one day, the sound of the clock tower's bell ceased. As if time itself had been lost.
Jennifer's Story
In 1995, in a certain orphanage, one could find a remarkably striking, beautiful girl. Her name was Jennifer. When she was 5 years old, her father disappeared, and she later lost her mother as well, leading to her being taken in by the orphanage.
Then one day, news arrived that a foster home had been found for her and three of her friends. Accompanied by their teacher, Mary, who was leading them, she and her three friends headed toward their new home.
They set off without knowing that the place was the mansion known as CLOCK TOWER.

How to Play
Objective
The objective of this game is to guide Jennifer, a young girl trapped in a mansion where terror lurks... CLOCK TOWER... and help her escape safely.
Now, let's begin playing. Once the opening scene ends, the game screen will appear. The girl standing in the center wearing a dark blue skirt is Jennifer.
Interacting with Characters and Objects
Ms. Mary will leave the room shortly, so let's try talking to your friends right away. Move the cursor on the screen using the D-pad to point at the friend you want to talk to, and press the Y button to confirm. Jennifer will then approach that friend and start a conversation.
Additionally, by performing the same operation on other objects, you can make Jennifer take various actions.
Moving Jennifer
To move Jennifer, use the D-pad to move the cursor in the direction you want her to go (for example, to the right side of Jennifer if you want her to move right) and press the Y button to confirm.
If left alone, Jennifer will keep moving until she bumps into something. If you want to stop her movement, please press the X button.
Cinematic Live
Now, the curtain rises on a night of terror. Will you be able to help Jennifer escape safely? Please fully experience the world of "Cinematic Live," a new series presented by Human.
This is a new genre offered by Human that combines movie-like intensity with the tension of a live performance.
Starting the Game
After the title screen, the main menu will be displayed. Use Up/Down on the D-pad to select, and press the Y Button to confirm.
Main Menu Options

Game Start: Starts the game from the opening scene. We recommend starting here for your first playthrough. (The demo cannot be skipped.)
•
Quick Start: Starts the game from the Great Hall scene. (It is best to start with this mode from your second playthrough onwards.)
•
Continue: You can continue playing from the scene where you last finished. Saving is done automatically every time you enter a room. (Data remains even if you turn off the power.)
•
Ending List: Displays a list of endings. Those you have already cleared will be marked as "CLEARED". Pressing any button will return you to the main menu screen.
•
Stereo: Sound settings. You can switch between STEREO and MONAURAL using Left/Right on the D-pad. To enhance the game's atmosphere, we highly recommend listening in STEREO.
Controls
L Button
Makes Jennifer run to the left.
START Button
Pause button.
R Button
Makes Jennifer run to the right.
D-Pad
Allows you to move the cursor.
X Button
Allows you to stop Jennifer while she is moving. After stopping, Jennifer will sit down and rest after a short while. While resting, her fatigue level will gradually recover.
Y Button
Confirms the target selected by the cursor. Once confirmed, Jennifer will perform an action appropriate for the situation.
A Button
You can use the items you currently possess. Displays the item window while held down.
B Button
By repeatedly pressing this button when Jennifer is in danger, you can draw out her desperate strength. It can only be used in real emergencies and drains her physical strength significantly, so it should be considered a last resort.
Left/Right Directional Pad
Select the item you want to use (while holding down the A Button).

Endings
There are multiple endings in this game, ranked from A to H depending on the content, which change based on your actions during play.
Hints
The cursor's reaction and action results differ based on the situation, especially when under attack. To survive attacks, use room items to repel threats, find hiding places, and thoroughly explore the mansion to gather information beforehand.
Caution
Saving is done automatically. To ensure saving works properly, do not turn off the power or reset during screen transitions; wait until the screen has fully transitioned.
