Langrisser I & II , released on The Playstation in 1999, is a remake of two classic RPGs. This enhanced version features the unique character creation system from its predecessor, Der Langrisser , where you choose to answer morally-provoking questions to shape your character's personality.
Gameplay involves exploring the game world, interacting with non-playable characters, and making choices that impact the story. The game features a branching storyline, allowing you to side with either good or evil forces, depending on your actions. With multiple endings and character relationships to manage, Langrisser I & II offers a challenging and rewarding experience for fans of the genre.
The Sega Saturn port adds two new storylines to the game: "true brilliant" route, which allows most characters to survive, and "downfall" route, resulting in a tragic ending. These additional storylines provide more depth and replay value to an already engaging game.
