Formula 1 Simulator is a racing game that lets you compete on ten international circuits. You can choose from traditional favorites like Monza, Monaco, and Silverstone, as well as some less common tracks like Zandvoort and the Österreichring. The game can be played in wet or dry conditions, with manual or automatic gear shifts.
Formula 1 Simulator requires you to drive realistically to set a good lap time. This means adjusting your braking points and acceleration levels carefully. On the Commodore 64 version of the game, you'll need to use a special disc along the top of the keyboard to simulate a steering wheel. The Spectrum version offers an extra control option called "steering wheel" that uses keys to adjust steering intensity.
