Hi-Res Computer Golf 2 is a 1–4 player golf simulation featuring a beginner course and three professional courses: Atlanta, Hotrock, and Glass Mountain, with support for importing additional courses. The game includes practice, demonstration, and swing-training modes across varied terrain. Courses feature true-to-scale fairways spanning multiple screens, wind effects, contoured greens, and hazards such as sand traps, roughs, water, and trees. Players choose from 8 clubs while selecting shot direction and swing type from a top-down perspective. Swing timing and accuracy are critical, as players must control the club through its arc and make solid contact with the ball. Terrain conditions also affect shot performance, requiring strategic adjustments for effective play and putting.
