Donkey Kong Bananza is a 3-D platform adventure for the Nintendo Switch 2 that follows Donkey Kong and Pauline as they explore the newly discovered Ingot Island and the Emerald Rush. Players can run, jump, climb and use a variety of power-ups to solve puzzles and defeat enemies in a vibrant, destructible jungle world. The game features a colorful cast, dynamic weather, and a new “Bananza” mechanic that lets players transform into different animal forms to access hidden areas. The standard edition includes the base game and a free DLC pack that adds new levels and cosmetic items.The game was released in the US on July 16, 2025 and is available on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform.
