Super Cobra , a side-scrolling shooter based on the arcade game, drops you into the midst of enemy territory as a chopper pilot on a surveillance mission. Your goal is to make it through the obstacle courses alive and score points. The terrain is filled with obstacles such as tall buildings, mountains, narrow tunnels, and various enemies that can destroy your chopper if you're not careful.
As you navigate through the levels, you'll be armed with a machine gun and bombs to defend yourself against enemy tanks, rockets, and mines. However, you also have to manage your fuel, as it's limited, and refueling is scattered throughout the landscape in fuel tanks. Destroying these tanks will award you extra fuel. As the levels progress, the enemies become more aggressive, and the terrain becomes trickier to navigate.
