Battlezone 2000 is set in a future war, where you take on the role of a tank commander fighting in the 21st century. The game stays true to its arcade roots and provides an exciting action-packed experience.

The gameplay involves navigating through a landscape, destroying enemy tanks and UFOs while managing your fuel levels and avoiding being destroyed yourself. You can collect fuel pick-ups and power-ups to aid you in your mission. Completing missions earns you credits, which can be used to upgrade your tank with various upgrades available. There are also several different tanks to choose from, including the Rhino, which offers heavy armour but has limited fuel.
