Owlboy

Owlboy is an action-packed adventure where you soar through the skies on wings of 16-bit-style visuals. You'll explore a world in the clouds, picking up friends along the way as you navigate through treacherous skies filled with obstacles and enemies.

The story begins in the village of Vellie, a tight-knit community living on floating islands. Otus and his best friend Geddy are tasked with keeping an eye out for sky pirates, but they soon find themselves chasing after a mysterious laughing figure that leads them to an ancient cave filled with owl secrets.

As the trail goes cold and Otus heads back home, he finds that the village has been invaded by sky pirates. With his mentor Asio's guidance, Otus must come up with a plan to stop the pirates and protect his friends and family. You play as Otus, a mute owl who relies on his friends to fight for him, using an ancient relic to teleport into the game world.
