The Escapists 2 is a sandbox prison-escape simulation where players craft tools, manage daily routines, and plan breakouts across a variety of procedurally generated prisons. The Switch version adds local and online co-op for up to four players, a revised combat system, and new prison maps. The game launched on Nintendo Switch on 11 January 2018, featuring the base game plus the pre-order-only Glorious Regime prison, which later became a paid DLC.
