Bart Simpson's Escape from Camp Deadly is an action-adventure game where Bart Simpson must lead the campers to freedom after being sent to the worst summer camp of all time: Camp Deadly. The camp is run by Ironfist Burns, who is apparently a member of the nefarious Monty Burns' extended family.

The gameplay involves guiding Bart Simpson through several side-scrolling levels, starting from a forest and moving on to a camp mess hall, before finally reaching freedom. Along the way, he uses his weapons, such as spit-wads and boomerangs, to overcome obstacles and enemies.
