Boulder Dash , released in 1990 , drops you into the role of Rockford, tasked with excavating caves teeming with monsters in search of precious diamonds. Your goal is to gather a set amount of these gems within each level, which will unlock the path to the next stage. However, beware – enemies can be dispatched by crushing them beneath falling boulders, but these same rocks can also become deadly obstacles.
As you progress through the 16 levels, difficulty increases with new puzzle elements and shorter time limits. Additionally, there are five distinct skill levels available, each introducing varying challenges in terms of the number of jewels required to be collected and the time constraints.
