Yars' Revenge is an action-packed adventure game where your goal is to destroy the Qotile laser-base located on the right side of the screen behind a shield. You control the fly-like Yar, which can destroy the shield piece by piece by shooting it or running into it.
The Zorlon cannon, located on the left side of the screen, is your primary tool to destroy the Qotile once the shield is down. However, be aware that a destroyer missile will constantly be homing in on you, and you'll need to find temporary shelter in a vertical shield in the center of the screen to avoid it. The Qotiles also have another random attack, a swirl, which you should dodge.
As you progress through the game, you'll unlock faster round variations with increased difficulty and speed. With its challenging gameplay and unique mechanics, Yars' Revenge is a thrilling experience for fans of action-adventure games.
