Ribbit King is set in a world where golf is played with frogs, known as Frolf. The main character's goal is to save the planet Hippitron from destruction. The game follows the story of a brave frog who must navigate through five unique worlds, each with its own challenges and obstacles.
The gameplay of Ribbit King involves playing Frolf tournaments while avoiding dangers such as deadly plants and animals. The player's frog has a mind of its own, adding an extra layer of challenge to the game. Power-ups can be collected to enhance the frog's abilities, allowing it to fly farther, swim faster, and behave differently in the wild.
The game features both single-player story mode and versus multiplayer mode for up to four players. Players can compete against each other or take on the solo challenge of saving Hippitron from destruction.
