The UK-produced adaptation of Ghostbusters II brings three action-packed scenes from the film to life. In the first scene, the Ghostbusters must collect slime samples from the sewers. One Ghostbuster is lowered into a shaft on a cable and must navigate through it, avoiding ghosts that try to stop him. The player can use proton beams, bombs, or shields to defend themselves, as well as find weapon power-ups and elixirs to restore courage. Collecting several parts of a slime scooper is also necessary to complete the samples collection task.
In the second scene, Lady Liberty helps the Ghostbusters travel to the Museum of Art via the slime. The player must use her torch to shoot at enemy ghosts, while managing her constantly draining slime supply by collecting slime from defeated enemies.
The final scene features a confrontation with big bad Vigo in the museum. The player must guide the four Ghostbusters down ropes into the museum, then switch between them during the fight to defeat Janosz, rescue baby Oscar, and ultimately catch Vigo in the crossfire of two proton beams.
