Cabela's Dangerous Hunts: Ultimate Challenge

In the main story mode, you play as a hunter who needs to rescue an old friend who has gone missing. Along the way, you have to complete short missions in different environments, such as forests, open fields, and snowy landscapes. You'll be accompanied by an AI character with short cut-scenes that advance the story.

The gameplay is action-oriented, requiring you to explore the terrain, get past obstacles, and shoot every animal that comes in sight. The game is shown from a first-person perspective, allowing you to move and look around freely, strafe, aim, zoom, and slow down time to get a better shot.

Targets are highlighted in red when your cursor passes over them, and the arsenal includes a range of weapons from small handguns to heavy rifles. However, these have limited ammo and need to be reloaded regularly. You can find additional ammunition and medkits on the terrain, as well.

The game also features Quick Action mode, which offers short games in different settings. These include taking out animals or practicing targets with a limited amount of time. Even dinosaurs make an appearance in one of these mini-games.
