Starquake , released in 1970, is an action-packed adventure game where you control Blob , a Bio-Logically Operated Being tasked with preventing the destruction of an unstable planet. Your goal is to collect specific items and transport them to the planet's core.
The game features a unique side-scrolling format with 512 screens arranged in a 16x32 pattern, allowing for exploration and navigation. A teleport system enables quick access to different parts of the game once you've discovered the necessary codes.
As Blob , you'll need to avoid hostile creatures that become increasingly intelligent as you approach the planet's core. You're equipped with a gun and can also use platforms for limited vertical movement, but be warned: these platforms will disappear after a few seconds each time they're used.
