Base Jumpers , a platform game released in 1995, was developed by Shadow Software for publisher Rasputin. The game's concept is simple: players must navigate to the top of towers, collect specific letter combinations to unlock daft bonuses, and then base jump down the outside of the building without colliding with obstacles or failing to deploy their parachute.
The gameplay revolves around trial and error as players attempt to achieve the highest score possible. With over 500 different 3-letter combination pickups, players must think strategically about which letters to collect in order to unlock the best bonuses.
