Introduction
There are many reasons to go to college: girls, booze, chicks, wild parties, babes, streaking, girls...did I mention girls? Get out there and explore. You'll meet gorgeous babes you'll want to know better.
You can impress them with witty conversation and by doing favors. You don't have to do it all at once. Talk to a girl, play a mini-game, then do something else and meet her again later. Sometimes it pays to play it cool.
Hello, Nephew!
This is your Uncle Larry; Larry Laffer. Remember me? You used to love hearing about my romantic exploits back in the '80s and '90s. When I heard you were going to college, I knew I was just the guy to give you a few pointers on life and on making it with babes.
That hot dating show Swingles is on campus looking for contestants. This is the perfect chance to prove yourself! If you can show them you're a real swinger, they'll have to let you on the show. And that means more chances to score. So look out, all you foxy chicks, Leisure Suit Larry is steppin' out again!
Wander Mode
There are two basic ways to behave. In Wander Mode, you explore everything your world has to offer. In Game Mode, you concentrate on performing a specific task.
In Wander Mode, you can examine cool stuff and converse with almost anyone on campus. Don't be afraid to eavesdrop; people might give you ideas for valuable things to do.
Larry's Patented Moves
•
Move the left analog stick to navigate.
•
Press and hold the L2 button to walk instead of run.
•
Use the right analog stick to adjust camera perspective.
•
When you approach a person or object you can interact with, their name will appear above.
•
When the Examine icon appears, press the Square button to examine the person or item.
•
When an Activate icon appears, press the X button to interact with the person or item.
Different Activate icons let you:
•
Talk with someone.
•
Go into a new area.
•
Buy items from a vendor or vending machine.
•
Play a mini-game for cash or confidence.
•
Chat with a gorgeous babe.
•
Evaluate and sell photos.
Taking Things to the Next Level
After you've impressed a girl enough times with talk and action, she'll be ready to get to know you more intimately. Good luck! Even if things don't work out, she's likely to leave you a token of her affection—an intimate article of clothing or a personal item—to remember her by.
Each time you collect tokens of affection from two more girls, you can go to the Swingles set and complete a challenge to advance to the next level. New levels reveal more activities, areas to explore, abilities, sizzling surprises, and more hot chicks to pursue!
Collect enough tokens of affection, and you'll reach the highest level of stud-dom and get to be a Swingles contestant, with a chance to make it with the hottest girls on campus!
Strutting Your Stuff
It's important to keep your confidence high. Good things happen to a guy who knows he's hot stuff! Winning certain mini-games will help raise your confidence.
