Mr Bean

Mr Bean has to make his way through four different locations: Mrs Wicket's back garden, the sewers, the wilds and finally the kidnappers' factory hide out. Each location consists of three levels that are connected through a central hub. A short cartoon sequence is shown before each level. As he navigates through these locations, Mr Bean has to watch out for various pests and baddies that do their best to get in his way.

Mr Bean has access to a few different weapons, including repellent to deal with pests, a frying pan to knock out bigger baddies, and a slingshot to hit faraway targets. He can also use a pirate costume for a short time of invincibility. Various pick ups can be collected, such as cat biscuits needed to pay Teddy's ransom, medi-teddies, first aid kits, and fruits that are used to restore health.

Collecting all the jigsaw pieces is necessary to complete each level, which involves opening the exit gate. The player must collect keys to unlock the treasure chests containing the jigsaw pieces. Once all the jigsaw pieces are collected, the player has to do a jigsaw challenge in time to unlock the gate. Puzzle solving also plays a role, involving pushing around crates to activate doors and bombs to destroy blockades.

In addition to the main game, there are various mini games available, including a jigsaw, whack-a-mole, tennis, racing, and shooting range games. Some of these mini games are playable by two players for the PlayStation 2, Wii, and Windows versions of the game.
