Rime takes place in a mysterious archipelago where players are tasked with rescuing six women from the clutches of a sinister force known as "The Order". The story follows Keats, an archaeologist on a quest to uncover the secrets of the islands. As he navigates through lush environments and abandoned ruins, Keats must confront his own dark past and the forces that seek to control him.
The gameplay in Rime is centered around exploration and puzzle-solving. Players control Keats as he traverses through the islands, uncovering hidden paths and solving environmental puzzles to progress. The game features a unique mechanic where players can manipulate time, creating loops and altering the environment to solve puzzles or overcome obstacles.
