Arcade Smash Hits is a compilation of three classic Atari arcade games, previously unreleased for Sega Master System: Centipede , Breakout , and Missile Command . This release adds short introduction sequences to each game.
The story revolves around the player's goal to stop alien invasions in Missile Command , rescue prisoners from Centipede 's deadly centipedes, and destroy enemy bricks with Breakout 's ball-bashing action.
Gameplay involves navigating through levels in Missile Command , avoiding incoming missiles while launching your own. In Centipede and Breakout , the objective is to clear as many enemies as possible before they reach you, with a focus on reaction time and timing.
