Planetary Survey: M17X (Party Planet)
Specific gravity is low, at 0.14 standard G. The planet's surface supports the entire population, but the interior contains enormous caverns of unknown dimensions and origin.
Areas within these caves are connected by a mysterious network of tubes and dimensional vortexes.
Indigenous Life Forms: Morfs
Morfs are peaceful, intelligent, polystructural gelatinous beings. They can temporarily rearrange their physical form after contact with "Morf Templates."
These artifacts contain organic data for flight, wheeled, swimming, or other body configurations. It is possible that all Morfs were once a single large organism that evolved into separate beings to have someone to party with.
Their society appears driven by the desire to have a good time. Although they lack distinct eyes or ears, younger Morfs frequently wear sunglasses and portable CD players.
The Worlds
Defeating General Headslot and his Bot army is not easy. There are many worlds in the underground caverns, some of which have never been explored. You get to be the first to explore them.
Scraping the Surface
In this first world, you will learn your way around the underground. The path is not easy, so keep your eyes open for vicious enemies.
Look out for:
•
Boss Bot, Smiley (with his Plasma Blasta)
Tropical Caves
Things are getting hotter due to nearby subterranean lava flows. This creates a jungle-like environment inhabited by dangerous plant life and creepy Bots.
Ignore rumors of Centi-Bots and fire-breathing lizards. Surviving explorers claim that a magical tiki Bot guards this world.
Deep Water
These caverns are partially filled with water, and the Bots here are waterproof.
Stay clear of:
•
Belligerent Bonefish Bots
•
Ill-tempered, ink-spitting OctoBot (he only has four arms, but the name is cooler)
Make sure to come up for air once in a while, or you will turn blue.
