Whirlo , released on Super Nintendo in 1905-06-14, is an action & adventure platformer starring Xandra, a lizard friend of Namco's Valkyrie series. In the game, Xandra embarks on a journey to find help for his family after leaving his enchanted forest.
Whirlo features standard platformer abilities, such as jumping and navigating obstacles, in addition to using a pitchfork to impale enemies and stick to certain surfaces. Collecting coins allows Xandra to purchase extra lives, but there are no new weapons or spells available like in the Valkyrie games.
