Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The game features a non-linear design, allowing players to explore Hogwarts School at their own pace between chapters. Players can use portraits unlocked during gameplay to teleport instantly to other areas or call a ghost to reveal the fastest route to missions. The main goal of exploration is to find the 150 hidden crests, which unlock achievements and trophies. Since Harry has lost his ability to jump and climb, he must use spells to reach them.

The game includes three mini-games: magic duels, brewing potions, and quidditch. In magic duels, players learn new spells by facing other magicians and using their input device to recreate movements. Quidditch is a reaction test where the player controls Harry's broom, moving it slightly to fly through rings or avoid obstacles. Brewing potions requires players to recreate recipes using ingredients in a bowl within a time limit, with some challenges adding heat or stirring elements.
