You play as Matthew Carter, an American journalist, in Cold War , who gets caught up in a web of conspiracy in Russia in 1986. The KGB conspirators, led by Georgi Barinski, frame him for being a CIA assassin and try to stop him from uncovering their plans.
Your goal is to escape the Lubyanka KGB prison and work with Grushkov, the head of the Presidential Guard, to prevent the KGB radicals from overthrowing the government. To succeed, you'll need to be stealthy and strategic in your approach, using gadgets to gain an advantage.
