Dragon Age II is a sequel to Dragon Age: Origins .
The story follows Hawke, a human who survived the destruction of their village and travels to the city of Kirkwall in search of financial stability. However, they soon find themselves caught in the middle of various political and social conflicts, including the appearance of the mysterious Qunari and the tension between Templars and mages.
The gameplay is similar to the previous Dragon Age game, with a few key changes. The combat system has been sped up, but Hawke can still customize their physical appearance and character class. The player controls Hawke and up to three active party members, using either automated actions or manual commands.
The ability tree is similar to the previous game, allowing players to learn new abilities as characters level up. Abilities are divided into various disciplines, reflecting the fighting style of each character.
