The story of Soul Reaver follows the protagonist, Razputin 'Raz' Alexander Bale, a vampire warrior tasked with defeating the evil tyrant, Kain. Kain has stolen the powerful Soul Reaver sword, and it's up to Raz to stop him and save the world from destruction.

Gameplay in Soul Reaver is fast-paced and action-packed, with a mix of combat, platforming, and puzzle-solving. Players control Raz as he navigates through a variety of environments, including medieval castles, ancient ruins, and even hell itself. The game features a unique 'time travel' mechanic, allowing players to switch between two characters: Raz and Kain.


