Twelve skilled warriors, including ninjas and samurai, must band together to defeat the demonic threat of Samurai Shodown III , which has brought about a wave of violence and bloodshed across the land. The demon Zankuro's brutal slaughter of innocents has sparked a vow from those who live by the way of the sword to take action.
The game features an array of iconic characters, each with their own unique fighting style and backstory. Players can choose from Amakusa , the orb-wielding boss from Samurai Shodown I ; Basara , the Executioner seeking revenge; Gaira , a Buddhist monk using giant prayer beads as his weapon; and many more.
The gameplay of Samurai Shodown III is fast-paced and action-packed, with each character offering two distinct techniques: "Slash" moves for their original abilities, and "Bust" moves representing the darker side of each character.
