Dark Summit is a unique take on the snowboarding genre. The military has mysteriously closed the summit of Mt. Garrick, and Chief O'Leary is trying desperately to drive snowboarders off the mountain. As one of these snowboarders, you'll be completing various missions, such as finding a bomb or destroying a cannon.
Dark Summit gameplay revolves around mission objectives and completing tricks to earn points. You can use these points to buy new equipment to improve your skills. The goal is to balance completing missions with pulling off impressive tricks, all while navigating the challenging terrain of Mt. Garrick.
Dark Summit was released on November 26th, 2001 for the Playstation 2 console, and it remains a popular extreme sports game among retro gaming enthusiasts.
