Darkwatch is an ancient organization that seeks to destroy evil in the world. They have captured the vampire lord Lazarus and are transporting him back to headquarters for questioning, but an outlaw's attempt to rob the train leads to Lazarus' escape instead. As Jericho Cross, a former outlaw turned member of Darkwatch, you must find and kill Lazarus before he turns you into a vampire.
Darkwatch is a first-person shooter set in the Wild West with supernatural beings. You'll fight your way through reapers, undead riflemen, banshees, and other creatures using Darkwatch 's unique blend of firearms and melee weapons. Along the way, you'll acquire vampire powers that determine your alignment: good or evil. Choose wisely, as this will affect your abilities and playstyle.
The game features single-player modes, including a story mode where you follow Jericho Cross' journey one chapter at a time, and Gunslinger mode, which allows you to replay levels unlocked in story mode with different alignments. In multiplayer, you can play online with up to 16 players or 4 players in split-screen mode, competing in Death Match, Team Death Match, Capture the Flag, and other game modes.
