Set in 1964 during the Cold War, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater follows the story of Naked Snake, a young soldier who is sent on a mission to infiltrate Soviet territory in Cuba. His objective is to rescue a scientist and gather intelligence on a new nuclear-capable tank, while also uncovering a sinister plot involving the CIA and the Soviet Union.
