NCAA Football 08 is an update to EA's NCAA college football franchise with new features and improved gameplay. The game takes place in the 2007 season, allowing players to experience the real-world college football atmosphere.
As a coach, you'll have the ability to boost skill performance and increase overall ratings by making user-controlled plays that elevate the team's motivation levels. You can also make promises to recruits to gain commitments, but be warned: keeping those promises will raise your coaching integrity rating, while breaking them will lower it. The game features many college-specific elements, such as home field advantage, composure ratings, an all-new fatigue system, and new trick plays like the Statue of Liberty and Hook and Ladder.
Players can also revisit their top accomplishments in My Shrine, a personal Hall of Fame that stores trophies, custom photos, and video highlights. Additionally, there's a Campus Legend Mode where you can develop a player from a star high school player to a backup college player. With these features and more, NCAA Football 08 is the ultimate college football experience for fans of the sport.
