World Tour Soccer 2003 lets you play with or against teams from 15 different national leagues, including over 13,500 FIFPro players. Compete in a total of 10 different stadiums around the world with weather and daytime options.
The game features creating your own custom team, playing whole seasons, player careers, tournaments, international challenges, and more. You can edit teams and players as you like and keep track of your records. The trophy cabinet will show you your accomplishments and unlocked cheats.
Compete in a full season in top divisions from countries such as Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, North America, Portugal, Scotland, or Spain. Some competitions also include lower divisions, cups, and league cups for other teams. You can customize any international team or club team to compete in these modes.
Competitions include the World Cup, Euro Cup, South American Cup, America's Cup, Africa Cup, and Asia/Oceania Cup. You select a nation and play against national sides. The Custom Competition option lets you create your own league or cup competition or play in classic teams from years past.
The Career mode starts in the English schools league with teams like Hedley Walter and Horsenden. You can change team strips, manager names, player appearances, and take the team to greatness on school playing fields before moving to stadiums. Exhibition matches are also available, where you can play against major international teams or club teams.
Matches can be played in four difficulty settings, with match lengths from 4 to 20 minutes. The trophy room allows you to collect all trophies, and there are twenty-seven vacant slots for an English Premier division club at each difficulty level.
