F1 Race Stars is a kart racing game based on the Formula 1 franchise. The game features all teams and drivers from the 2012 season, as well as two fictional teams. The available circuits are loosely inspired by their real world counterparts, but most of the tracks are fictional, with elements such as loops, jumps, traffic, and other obstacles.
The gameplay involves racing and competing against opponents, using power-ups for individual advantage and sabotage to gain an edge. The game supports online multiplayer through Codemasters's RaceNet, as well as local split-screen racing for a more casual experience.
