Frank Thomas Big Hurt Baseball
is a baseball game for Game Boy and Game Gear that brings the console experience to handheld gaming. Based on the 1995 MLB season, the game features real player names and statistics from the MLBPA, but does not have official team names due to licensing issues.
The game offers six different modes: Exhibition games, a full Season (either the original schedule or a shortened version), Playoffs, the All-Star game, the Home Run Derby, and a batting practice mode. Players can save their progress via passwords in both Season and Playoff states.
