The Shining Force CD , a compilation of two strategy RPG titles from the Shining Force series, brings together Shining Force Gaiden and its sequel, known outside of Japan as Shining Force II: The Sword of Hajya . In these games, you play as Nick, the Prince of Cypress, who must navigate through challenges to achieve his goals. In Shining Force Gaiden , your mission is to rescue Arni, the princess of Gardiana, while in Shining Force II: The Sword of Hajya , you must lead a conquest to reclaim your kingdom from the evil empire of Iom.

The gameplay in these strategy RPGs involves tactical turn-based battles and exploration. You'll need to make strategic decisions about which units to deploy, when to attack, and how to manage resources.
