Ooga Booga is set on a group of tropical islands where a powerful goddess named Ooga Booga occasionally rises from the sea. During these full moon events, four island tribes compete in various challenges to gain her favor. You play as the witch doctor of your tribe, competing in games like Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, and others to boost your Island magic, known as Mojo, and avoid the goddess's wrath.

The gameplay involves strategic competition with other tribes, both online and offline, across several game modes including Tiki Wars, Domination, Deathmatch, and more. Winning these challenges will increase your tribe's Mojo, allowing you to strengthen your island and appease Ooga Booga.
