In one-player mode, the player competes solely on offense against a CPU that is initially ahead in score. The goal is to catch up and win by scoring enough points. In two-player mode, both offense and defense are present, requiring players to outmaneuver each other with touchdowns, field goals, interceptions, and safeties.
