The Ninja

As Gyokuro's power grows, the people of Ohkami live in fear of his oppressive rule. The princess, who was once a symbol of hope, is now confined to a dungeon deep within the castle walls. Only one can challenge the clan and bring freedom to the land: Kazamuru, a great warrior.

You control Kazamuru as he embarks on a perilous quest to rescue the princess. His journey takes him through various landscapes, including grassy fields, shrines, river banks, towns, and the castle itself. To succeed, you must defeat fierce ninjas, each with unique abilities, such as Kuno-ichi, Ninniku, fire-blowing ninjas, slashing ninjas, and footloose ninjas.

As Kazamuru navigates through the thirteen areas of Ohkami, he'll encounter steps with varying gameplay challenges. These range from avoiding boulders to using logs to cross rivers, all while avoiding deadly obstacles like horses that can trample you or treacherous cliffs to scale. Your goal is to find and retrieve the five scrolls, which will ultimately lead to the princess's freedom.
