Rambo: First Blood Part II is a vertical-scrolling shooter where you play as Rambo and his buddy Zane, tasked with rescuing hostages from various levels. Your mission will be hindered by enemy soldiers, tanks, and other obstacles, which will stop at nothing to prevent your success. Unlike previous titles in the series, this game features a single-hit kill system and a gun-based weapon instead of knives.
Rambo: First Blood Part II is actually a re-branded version of Ashura , also known as Secret Commando in Europe. This explains the presence of a second playable character, Zane, who does not appear in the movie.
The Sega Master System brings this action-packed game to life with its fast-paced gameplay and challenging levels. Players must navigate through treacherous terrain, avoiding enemy fire and making precise jumps to reach the end of each level.
