The GameBoy Advance version of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon is a 2D side-scrolling beat-em-up based on the film of the same name. You play as Jen, a young thief, who must take on familiar characters from the movie.
The game features 25 levels set in locations from the film, and while it has some similarities to its console counterparts, it is notable for only having one playable character, Jen. She wields the sword Green Destiny and can perform basic attacks, as well as more impressive moves such as mid-air double-jumps or flying kicks. Climbing walls by pushing off them is also an option.
Defeating enemies fills a chi meter, which allows for special moves to be performed. Chi can also be used to cure status ailments such as poison or daze. Overall, the gameplay offers a fun and challenging experience in the world of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon .
