Virtua Cop is a light gun rail shooter where you play as a police officer sent to capture criminals. You'll chase them through subways, banks, and even helicopters. The gameplay follows a familiar pattern from its predecessor, with the player moving automatically from a first person perspective.
The main goal is to aim and fire your weapon at the bad guys to score points. However, be careful not to hit innocent bystanders, as that will cost you points. The enemies have tougher firepower than before, making it a more challenging game. You can play solo or with a friend to add some competition.
